LOOK AT THE MISSILES ON THIS CHICK: In Arizona, the Sky Harbor International Airport became the country's first to begin testing a controversial new federal screening system that takes X-rays of passenger's bodies in an effort to find concealed explosives and other weapons. The Phoenix airport started testing the new technology on Friday. It can see through people's clothes and show the body's contours with blush-inducing clarity. Critics have said the high-resolution images created by the "backscatter" technology are too invasive...

A court has ordered a woman to pay her lesbian former partner $240 a month in child support - in a case of two states with differing legal views on same-sex relationships. Last month's Rutland Family Court ruling comes amid a continuing custody battle between Janet Jenkins and Lisa Miller over 4-year-old Isabella. Miller gave birth to Isabella, who was conceived through artificial insemination, after the couple legally joined in a civil union in 2002. But about a year later, Miller renounced her homosexuality, returned home to Winchester, Va., and denied Jenkins visitation rights. Since then, Vermont courts have ordered that Jenkins, who lives in Fair Haven, Vt., be allowed to visit Isabella, but a court in Virginia - which does not recognize same-sex unions - has granted Miller sole parental rights…

In Duluth, Ga. -- Authorities say two women have been arrested for prostitution in a case in which "dates" could cost as much as $10,000. Forty-two-year-old Lisa Ann Taylor was arrested yesterday at her million-dollar home in the exclusive Sugarloaf Country Club area. She also was charged with prostitution, keeping a place of prostitution and conspiracy to possess cocaine. The district attorney says her alleged partner, 30-year-old Nicole A. Probert, 30, of Lawrenceville was arrested on the same charges. He says both women are suspected of participating in "high-end" acts of prostitution in Gwinnett County and other states in which dates can cost $10,000.

Taylor, who goes by the name Melissa Wolf on the site, boasts that she is "North America's Most Published Centerfold and one of Penthouse Magazine's Most Published Pets" on her personal Web site…

A 75-year-old Vietnamese grandma hospitalized with stomach pains was found to be carrying a fetus at least 50 years old. Scans revealed the skull, backbone, ribs and limbs to be the size of a normal 8-month-old inside Dinh Thi Thu, which doctors attributed to an ectopic pregnancy. "She said she noticed the growth in her belly 50 years ago," said Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Tai. "She sometimes felt some movement in her abdomen, but gradually she just forgot about it and found no problem with it."

Hopping on one leg 50 times a day can help women beat bone-wasting condition osteoporosis, a study in Britain has found. Tests over a six-month period showed a stronger hip and heel in the leg used for hopping, but not in the other leg. The exercise also helped with balance and muscle use — two factors which can prevent falls in old age…

OTTAWA SENATORS TRADE DEFENSEMAN ANDY HEDLUND TO WASHINGTON CAPITALS
The Ottawa Senators today acquired defenseman Lawrence Nycholat from the Washington Capitals in exchange for defenseman Andy Hedlund and a sixth-round pick in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.

Tom and I want to wish Andy and his wife the best of luck in Hershey and hopefully in Washington. We'll miss him coming in and hanging out with us on the air. We golfed with him in the Binghamton Senators Golf Tournament back in October and Andy had the Longest Drive, but then again he almost killed Neil Komadoski with one of his drives. The picture below is from that tournament at Endwell Greens.
