The New York Giants, now 0-5 on the season, are causing their once optimistic and now bewildered fans a lot of stress and depression. But it's even worse for one local business which claims the team's winless ways is hurting them financially.
Rick's Cabaret, a New York strip club, says the Giants' miserable play is taking money out of the strippers' pockets – or G-strings, to be precise. The club shows each and every Giants game and says fans have become so depressed that they're not throwing their cash around to the girls. So Rick's Cabaret has decided to stop showing the Giants games.
The losing got to be too much during the second half of Sunday's loss to the Eagles. Stripper Yvonne says, "I've been showing off my new 34-Ds and getting compliments all the time, except right after Giants games. The guys are sort of deflated. They take that football stuff too seriously." The club plans to continue showing every other NFL game, including tonight's Jets game – not that that will be any better for business. (Busted Coverage)
